I love that Ford & Megan are in their 40s and the balance of suspense and romance was nice, but definitely leaned heavier on the romance. This is best when you’re in the mood for instalove. There's a forced proximity which means the Ford & Megan have a lot of time to get to know each other. Even though the story only lasted a few days - it was obvious they were a great fit beyond just sex & physical attraction. The ending was kind of meandering, but sweet. I enjoyed Troy Duran & Rose Dioro.

Hot Rod Bounty Hunters -- Oh, the dirty talking in this book is... palpable. Ford wants to know if Megan feels it. I don't know about her but I certainly did! Woo-wee! Partnered with the heat, this also contains serious subject matter (drugs - dealers and addiction), explosions, tenderness, tears, violence, and bits of humor. The narrators, Rose Dioro and Troy Duran, each embodied their primary character. They did a good job with dual narration. Story: 4.5 stars Narration: 4 stars

I highly recommend this series and this was a great way to start it. This book drew me in from the very beginning and I couldn’t stop listening! I love Troy Duran and Rose Dioro’s narration which makes me feel like I’m in the middle of the story. This story starts off with action and continues throughout the book. Ford is a bounty hunter who is searching for his parents’ killer who escaped custody. Megan is a waitress who has an ex-husband who has made her a target for information.
