Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Dr. Hatch and his loyal Electric Children have seized control of the E.S. Ampere—the super yacht the Elgen use as their headquarters. With the Elgen fleet now under his control, Hatch heads back to Peru to pick up his army and then begin his quest for global domination.

Michael will have to free his friends then find a way to stop Hatch, but the organization behind the mysterious voice that has guided him to this point has been compromised. Hatch knows Michael and the Electroclan are coming. And he’s ready for them.

As an audiobook this volume falls very flat. The story is fine. The problem is the narration. The person narrating this volume just doesn't have any energy most of the time and the dialogue feels very forced. I really wish the guy who narrated 1 and 2 had narrated this one and 4 as well. I know he comes back for 5, 6 and 7 so I'll push through this one anyway.

I love the book but using a new narrator for the third book is jarring many characters that had personality in the voices fall flat in this one and I don't mean to hate on this narrator he did great for a lot of characters but the cast is large and it just felt flat compared to the first two books
