Out of all the McKay couples, this one always resonated the most for me. There was something so sweet and pure about Cord and AJ, they just were who they were, without any real drama. The story moves us along with the eldest McKay of Cord and Amy Jo, now going by AJ, who has been in both the previous books. AJ has finally decided to get Cord to notice her and sets her plan in motion. Cord doesn't realize she wants his love and not just his body but that is chance he has to take.
