Christian Johann Heinrich Heine (1797-1856) war einer der bedeutendsten deutschen Dichter, Schriftsteller und Journalisten des 19. Jahrhunderts. Er gilt als „letzter Dichter der Romantik“ und verlieh der deutschen Literatur eine zuvor nicht gekannte elegante Leichtigkeit.
