Далее они часто переползали нам дорогу, и мой возница, уже немолодой, словоохотливый, шустрый гусляк, вскакивал с телеги, старался догнать змею и убить ее, после чего срезывал палку, расщепливал ее, втыкал в землю и вешал змею?.
