«Жидовская кувырколлегия» - произведение русского писателя Н. С. Лескова (1831 – 1895).*** Рассказ впервые был опубликован в «Газете А. Гатцука» в 1882 году. С измененным заглавием вошло в сборник «Святочные рассказы» (1886). В его основу лег известный в те времена анекдот о безуспешной попытке подкупить славного генерала Н. С. Мордвинова и о Государственном совете, на котором в присутствии государя решался вопрос о привлечении евреев к военной службе. Перу Лескова принадлежат и такие произведения: «Загадочное происшествие в сумасшедшем доме», «Загадочный человек», «Загон», «Заметки неизвестного», «Запечатленный ангел».
