Огород меня кормил – летом и осенью на нем росли картошка, кабачки, груши с яблоками, клубника, смородина, жимолость, огурцы, редиска и зелень – укроп, петрушка. Мне помогают птицы – нахальные сороки уже с удовольствием съели оставшиеся яблоки, до которых я не мог дотянуться, когда осенью собирал урожай на молодой яблоне. Кроме синиц и сорок, за салом еще забегают соседские коты. Это пройдохи. Однажды выглянул в окно и увидел дятла, который долбил своим клювом сало.
