На конкурсах писателей действует многоступенчатая схема отбора. Приведем пример. Сначала из 2000 поступивших на конкурс работ отбираем 1000 для участия. Отбраковываются произведения не прошедшие по каким-то формальным причинам (не та тема, не тот объем, и т.п.)Затем какое-то количество отбираем в лонг лист (200, или 100, или 40). Затем из лонг листа отбираем произведения в шорт лист. Затем из шорт листа назначаем победителей.
