هم العرب .. و يأكد ذلك من خلال أدله و إثباتات متفرقه , الكتاب قليل في عدد صفحاته لكنهُ زاخر بالمعلومات
والجميل أن العقاد بعد الحديث مطولاً و بشكل تفصيلي .. إختصر خلاصه الحديث بالصفحة الأخيره من الكتاب بفكرتين الأولى كانت : أن الأمم الشرقية و الغربية دائنه و مدينه , و الثانية : أن الحضارات تتناقل بين الأمم الشرقية و الغربية رغماً عنها , و قد يكون من دون قصد .
أخيراً إستشهد بقوله تعالى : ( و تلك الأيام نداولها بين الناس )
