ظلَّ الدُّستور الإسلاميُّ شعاراً يحملُ أفكار وأحلام الأجيال المُتتالية للحركة الإسلاميَّة منذ الرعيل الأوَّل، إذ قام أوَّل تحالف إسلامي إرهاصاً لحركة الإسلام الحديثة في نهاية أربعينات القرن الماضي يحملُ اسم ”جَبهَة الدستور الإسلامي“، توالَت فيه عناصر من مشارب شتى لم تترك أحزابها جُملةً واحدة، ولكنها كانت تَتَناصَرُ جماعةَ ضغطٍ من كلِّ الأحزاب، وكانت تُريد أن تحمل تلك الأحزاب لتتبنَّى قضيَّتها في الحُكم بالإسلام، دون أن تُدرِكَ علي وجه الدقة والعُمق ما هي أصُول ذلك الشعار وما هي قضاياه فضلاً عن معرفة تفاصيله وموادِّه الدُّستوريَّة والقانونيَّة.
