رفعت شعرها بعصبية من علي جبينها وهي تبكي وتنظر حولها صمتت فجأة وفتحت فمها غطاء السرير مفرود بتناسق.... لقد كانت تتحدث في الهاتف وهي علي السرير ولم تتركه منسقا ومفرودا حين إزاحته سريعا لتهبط.... وفي منتصفه يوجد بروز كان هناك شخص ما بالسرير سحبت الغطاء ببطء.... وبيد مرتعشة وقلب يدق بسرعة بالفعل السرير لم يكن خاليا ... كان هناك ذلك النائم في هدوء وممدد تحت الغطاء... اقتربت بوجهها من النائم تتفحصه لضعف الإضاءة المتاحة وما أن اقتربت حتى شهقت شهقة تحيي الموتى......
