إن العودة التي نرتجيها في كتابنا عن ابن خلدون هي ليست عودة اليه بالذات شخصا، ولا تقييما للمعرفة الخلدونية في ضوء معطيات الحاضر من منطلق ايديولوجياته وانما هي رغبة في العودة الى الذات والهوية العربية، والواقع الحلم العربي اليوتوبي، الذي يتمثل بجهده الذي سما على الصراعات السياسية في عصره، بعدما خبر ولعب شخصيا دورا بارزا فيها، ورسم كثيرا من خططها، فسئم تناقضاتها وحاول الانعتاق منها ولم يكن أمامه غير العلم للترفع عن الأوضاع ، لأن العلم إنما الايديولوجية التي لا يتناقض معها أحد، فكان العلم آيديولوجيته لرفض الواقع العربي المجزأ المنكفىء على نفسه Descriptor(s): KNOWLEDGE | KHALDUNISM | EPISTEMOLOGY | SOCIAL PHILOSOPHY | ARAB CULTURE | SOCIAL SCIENTISTS
