 إن الواقع أن هذا الاعتراض قد أثاره الشيخ أحمد ديدات الداعية الإسلامي، نقلا عن الاعتراضات التي وجهها الملحدون إلى الكتاب المقدس في القرن 19 في أوربا، وقد تم الرد عليها في حينها، من رجال الدين المسيحي بما لا يدع مجالا للشك ولكن دعنا نوضح للجميع الحقيقة الجوهرية رغم هذا التناقض الظاهري إذ أنه لا خلاف بين رواية سفر الملوك وسفر أخبار الأيام .
