حياته: اشترك في الكتابة والتحرير بصحيفة األفكار واألهرام والرجاء وصحيفة البالغ والرشيد وفي
عام 1929 ً م انتخب عضوا بالبرلمان
بلغت مؤلفاته النثرية حوالي 148 ً كتابا.
بلغت دواوينه الشعرية عشرة دواوين تشمل حوالي 300 قصيدة، وأكثر من 7000 مقالة
وثالثمائة حديث إذاعي.
وفاته: توفي العقاد في عام 1964م
