أصل الظلم: الجور ومجاوزة الحد، وإذا كان الظلم هو من أسوأ الذنوب التي قد تقوم بها في حياتنا، وإذا ان الله سبحانه قد أعدَ عقاباً كبيراً للظالم المبتغي على حقوق الناس، سواء أكان ظلمه بالقول أو الفعل، وإذا كان عزّ وجلّ قد حرمه على نفسه وعلى الناس كما روى أبو ذر الغفاري عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الذي رواه عن الله عزّ وجلّ (يا عبادي أني حرمت الظلم على نفسي وجعلته بينكم محرماً فلا تظالموا...).
فلماذا نَظلِم، ولماذا نُظلم؟... وما هي دوافع الظلم؟... وما هي موارده، ثم ما هي نتائجه على الأفراد والمجتمعات؟... وأيضاً لماذا نظلم أنفسنا؟...
