لا شك فى أن الرواية قد تمت كتابتها فى الفضاء التسجيلي. وهي دفتر لواقع حسي مس النضاليين اليساريين، انه تاريخ بديل غير رسمي لما جرى فى العراق بين الستيينيات والسبعينيات.

هيفاء زنكنة، أديبة عراقية مرموقة، قدمت العديد من الأعمال الأدبية والسياسية باللغتين العربية والانجليزية، كما انها كاتبة وناشطة سياسية حرصت على مدى السنوات بان تدافع عن قضايا الحرية والمساواة والدفاع عن حقوق الانسان.
