The Programme Journal is an essential ancillary for any large broadcasting organisation throughout the world. Betar Jagat was widely read and used to provide a useful link between broadcasting and its listeners. The reprinting of broadcast talks, poems and detailed information about broadcast personalities, stimulated interest and enabled listeners to have a permanent record of a talk or what so ever, they might have greatly enjoyed.
