石平（せき へい）
評論家。1962年、中国四川省成都市生まれ。80年、北京大学哲学部に入学後、中国民主化運動に傾倒。84年、同大学を卒業後、四川大学講師を経て、88年に来日。95年、神戸大学大学院文化学研究科博士課程を修了し、民間研究機関に勤務。2002年より執筆活動に入り、07年に日本国籍を取得。14年『なぜ中国から離れると日本はうまくいくのか』（PHP新書）で第23回山本七平賞を受賞。
