《二二八事件檔案彙編（24）》，係承23冊之後，單列一章：各界的意見與處置，就二二八事件前後總統府（國民政府）所產生的檔案文件之彙集，蒐錄內容主要是一九四七年二二八事件發生後，一些團體如臺灣政治建設協會、廈門臺灣同鄉會、臺灣二二八慘案聯合會、旅京滬臺灣各有關團體，或是個人，如黃朝琴、西康省參議會議長胡恭先、臺灣高等法院首席檢察官王建今等，向國民政府主席蔣中正呈報事件發生緣由、因應辦法及收拾民心意見；又收有監察院監察使楊亮功、何漢文來臺進行調查並建議善後事宜文件以及事後臺灣省黨部如何對涉案士紳的保釋及提出如何安輯臺民意見書等；另外也含括對省制、專賣等統制機構的撤廢問題、警政與黨務工作的改進與推展等各類文件。
