About this ebook
本書最大特點是社會科學的整合成果的出版。雖然書中分為全球化、區域化、及法治化等三大主題，但是各大主題之下都包含政治學、經濟學、社會學、及法律學等專業。每位作者都從各自的學術專業探究相關的主題。本書的另一特點就是，作者大多來自南部地區的大學院校，顯示南部地區的社會科學已經逐漸嶄露頭角。過去社會科學重北輕南，學者以北部地區居多，然本次研討會參加的學者，卻是以南部地區的學術界人士居多，這對於南台灣社會科學的發展，具有重大意義。冀望本書的出版，有助於提升南台灣的社會科學整合的教學及研究。
