About the author

埃·德·亚米契斯(Edmondo De Amicis 1846-1980)，意大利作家，出生于风光旖旎的意大利古里亚西海岸的奥纳利亚镇。 20岁时从军校毕业，加入军队，开始写一些具有爱国风味的短篇故事，并出版了他的第一本书《意大利军旅生活》。1886年，亚米契斯写出了他最著名的书——《爱的教育》。此书一发表，立即轰动了当时的意大利文坛，成为意大利无数家庭教育孩子的教材。
