第一要「本貌之上直指」
第二要「唯一之上決定」
第三要「解脫之上把握」
《三句擊要》經由歷代祖師所傳承，至今加持力仍未消散，是隸屬於眾多教法類型中的涅槃遺教。此教法雖短，卻總攝了修行上極為殊勝的口訣；大圓滿見地、觀修、行持的實修關鍵皆於其中，是最頂端的乘門。
佛法學習者如具備「強烈的信心」「強烈的出離心」以及「純淨的誓言」，並依循「三句擊要」努力精進自己的實修，也能如歷代祖師般成就！
