羅秀美，1971年生。中央大學中文系博士、碩士、學士。現任中興大學中文系助理教授。曾任聯合大學助理研究員、元培科技大學國文組講師、中央大學中文系兼任講師。著有碩士論文《宋代陶學研究》（本書前身）、博士論文《近代白話書寫現象研究》。
