因應全球淨零碳及能源轉型浪潮，並為解決傳統核能面臨的風險和爭議，全球各國紛紛再度將視野轉向核融合技術，開始重新提出多項核融合相關之技術與產業推動政策及國際合作方案；同時，核融合企業的數量及投資金額近年也持續呈現上升趨勢，國際上預估在2035 年後有望進入商業化。有鑑於核融合近期趨勢變化，及我國於2023 年初發布之淨零科技方案也將核融合列入長期發展技術之一，本報告將檢視國際上核融合發展趨勢，包含各類核融合技術發展現況、技術挑戰、各國政策布局及產業趨勢，並配合我國既有的專利及科研能量進行綜合分析討論，希望可供我國長期核融合技術發展布局參考。
