About the author

徐仁修，1946年生於新竹，在芎林鄉下度過與大自然親密的童年生活。及長，向台的高山深谷深進，也向世界探險旅行，留下許多記錄。在60年代，台灣大自然開始受嚴重破壞時，率先發起保護大自然生態的呼籲，著手拍攝與記錄台灣大自然的原。同時，也從事自然教育，寫文章、出書，演講、開展覽，帶學生與孩子做自然觀與體驗。1995年發起成立荒野保護協會，匯聚更多力量來保護大自然。
