成一和尚，江蘇泰縣人，1914年出生，少年於營溪觀音禪寺出家，入光孝寺佛學院親炙智光、南亭長老研習華嚴、唯識各類佛學。1940年於寶華山隆昌寺受具足戒，後習醫，於上海玉佛寺創辦佛教施診所。
1949年迎接智光、南亭長老來臺，1952年協助南亭長老創建華嚴蓮社，任蓮社要職，後於桃園創辦僑愛講堂，往來海內外道場，弘揚佛法。
在臺期間，致力於流通大陸佛經、宣傳徵印大藏經，協助東初老人創辦台灣第一本佛教刊物《人生》雜誌，主編《中國佛教》月刊。推動教育事業，興辦智光商工職校，創辦華嚴專宗學院，支持聖嚴法師創辦中華佛學研究所，並致力於草藥圖鑑編輯以濟世救人。晚年積極推動兩岸佛教文化交流，回光孝寺教導後進，於2011年圓寂。
