About this ebook
本計畫的目標在改善並擴充「公路養護資訊整合應用系統」之功能，更前瞻地將整個系統發展為一個「以WebGIS為核心並整合時下流行的部落格、討論、社群、活動等網路服務的開放平台」。為達此一目標，本計畫除改善擴充原有系統功能以滿足需求外，亦建置初期軟硬系統，並進行教育訓練與試營，讓系統更為穩定可靠。 本計畫試營系統是一個整合即時路況、公路photologging、地標景點等資料的地理資訊查詢系統，也是一個可以讓一般民眾透過WebGIS、網誌、活動、討論等服務建立地圖分享資訊的系統，更是一個方便讓不同單位或社團依單位業務需要自行建立並維運地理資訊的WebGIS開放平台。同時，為使系統在本案結束後仍可良好持續營運，試營系統除建立「公路之美」主題網頁，方便其各級單位建立分享公路景觀、橋梁、得獎路段、公路之美等等內容外，更配合公路總局辦理「99臺灣行 公共運輸環島情」及 交通部辦理「交通部2010年陸海空重大交通政策論壇」等活動，可作為相關單位應用本系統的案例。
