1901年美國人Cornelia Bonnell (1874-1916) 為了庇護雛妓在上海創立濟良所 ; 2017年, 來自台灣的古董娃娃研究家梁庭嘉則是為了預防雛妓而發起《濟良所復興計劃》募款活動, 她說 : " 如今的Door Of Hope Mission Doll已經是擁有身價的古董娃娃了，但是對於世上還存在的雛妓問題卻一點幫助都沒有，也對不起一百年前將她們縫製出來的濟良所女孩。既然我趕在二十世紀的最後一年冬末偶然發現了她們，就有為何會發現她們的理由，也許我該為她們做些什麼，如果我不做，大概不會有人做了。"
《濟良所復興計劃》盈餘的 1/3 將捐給中國貧困山區少女, 作為她們參加實用技術培訓的學費, 避免她們因為沒有一技之長而被同鄉拐賣而不幸.
