二○一五年，臺灣約有五十八萬名外籍移以及十六萬名外籍配偶，意即，在臺灣每32人之中，就會有一位東南亞移民或移工。她／他們是共同居住這塊土地不容忽視的第五大族群；她／他們做你我不願做的底層勞動，支撐台灣基礎建設；她／他們長時間協助我們照護家中的老病殘，無眠無休；她們許多人是我們新生下一代的母親。
這次，她／他們透過移民工文學獎，寫下自己創作。
