畢業於國立台東大學兒童文學研究所。一邊在台灣唯一不靠海的地方當老師，另一邊在群山的懷抱的小學裡寫故事。曾獲第四屆牧笛獎、陳國政兒童文學獎首獎、金鼎獎。著有《首席大提琴手》、《可能小學的愛台灣任務》系列、《歡迎光臨海愛牛》、《青蛙青蛙呱呱呱》、《阿嗚國王的兒童節》、《歡喜巫婆買掃把》、《做孩子的學習好夥伴：請問超級老師的20道學習難題》等書。

畫者簡介
蔡嘉驊
曾於文化出版及電腦公司擔任美術編輯、美術設計、專業插畫等職，於一九九五年成立個人工作室，以平面設計與專業插圖為主，作品多見於各大報章、雜誌、書籍等。對生態保育插圖有興趣，經常為各臺北市立動物園、農委會、鯨豚協會、經濟部水利署等繪製插圖。繪本作品有「大便救乳牛」、「阿公阿媽奮鬥記」、「誰是惡霸」等。
