宋王明清撰。是書乃其晚年所作。見於《書錄解題》者一卷，與此本相同。其以投轄為名者，陳振孫謂所記皆奇聞異事，客所樂聽，不待投轄而留也。所列凡四十四事，大都掇拾叢碎，隨筆登載，不能及《揮麈錄》之援據賅洽，有資考證，然故家文獻，所言多信而有徵，在小說家中，猶為不失之荒誕者。惟第六條之首，原闕四行，乃傳寫者所脫佚，今已不可考矣。書中於每條之下多註所聞之人。今考其江彥文一條下，註聞之陸務觀。任藎臣、虹縣良家子二條下，註聞之僧祖秀。祖秀乃宣和舊人，即作《艮嶽記》者，明清猶及見之，而又下見陸遊。其稱巳歲金人歸我河南地者，為高宗紹興九年。又稱甲戌者，乃寧宗嘉定七年。則明清之老壽，可以概見，宜其於軼聞舊事，多所諸悉也。（維基百科）
