士文村位於士文水庫預定壩址東側約900公尺之山脊平台處，村內部分道路及房舍可見裂縫存在，為釐清邊坡是否有不穩定之現象，遂於士文村周邊邊坡佈置監測系統，藉由地形測量、地表地質調查、邊坡及擋土設施裂縫調查，水位及位移等計測儀器觀測資料，配合邊坡穩定數值分析，綜合評估邊坡之穩定性，以及水庫蓄水後之影響，供後續水庫建設之參考依據。
