2010年9月2日，新加坡作家代表团携带着装满南洋风味的阳光和雨水的行李，将《花园城市与水的神话》带到上海，为新世纪的世博抹上岛国的文学色彩。
11位作家包括王润华、淡莹、希尼尔、艾禺、蔡志礼、李永乐、郭永秀、许福吉，以及非华族作家Kirpal Singh, Edwin Thumboo与Isa Kamari。
