自唐宋到清代前期的書法史，幾乎是以學習王羲之為主的帖學史，進而形成難以動搖的傳統，此即本書所謂的「帖學傳統」，承襲王羲之系統的代表性書家，也就自有其書史上難以動搖的典範意義。本書深入探析孫過庭、米芾、趙孟頫、董其昌、王文治、沈尹默與王靜芝等人的書學觀，據此建構出一套以特定觀念為主軸的書學體系，試圖提出一個有別於無所不包的書學史論著。

郭晉銓

1980年出生於臺灣基隆。國立中央大學文學博士，專長書法理論與書法教學，現任教於臺北市立大學中國語文學系。著有《沉鬱頓挫──臺靜農書藝境界》、《刀斧歲月──吳榮賜》等專書。
