《晶文薈萃》網上優秀文章展廊以表揚本港學生優秀文章，並鼓勵互相交流學習為目標。現代青少年見多識廣，無論課堂上、家庭內、友儕間，以至從不同媒體上所得資訊甚博，透過寫作，青少年正好把所見所聞重新整理，深味細嚼，加深內心體會之餘，提筆抒發意見感受。《晶文薈萃》正好提供一個平台，讓全港中、小學攜手建立網上展廊，並與大眾分享其中一些較為出色的作品。 計劃自2007年6月推出以來，得到126間學校鼎力支持，合共展出4,718篇優秀文章，漸漸成為香港文壇上一個專為青少年建立的寶庫。為了讓佳作廣傳，自2010年起，《巧.克.力》每年出版一輯《晶文薈萃－精選文章》。
今年的第七輯文集，匯聚了301篇來自本地31間學校的優秀文章，包括第 34至37期《 晶文薈萃 》展覽之《 十優文章 》（40篇），第十三屆《仲夏夜之夢Crossover》2017全港中小學暑期網上寫作計劃得獎文章（11篇），及選輯《 晶文薈萃 》文章（250篇）。除原校老師評語，亦承蒙林翼動博士為學生作品另作撰評，希望讀者閱後能汲取其中精髓，提升寫作技巧。
