「核心字義」是什麼？
如果查韓語詞典，上面的單字解釋至少都有三四種意思，為什麼韓國人自己不會搞混呢？因為對他們來說，每個單字都只有一個「基本形象」（核心字義）！但是詞典上的各種字義，乃是為了非母語人士方便學習，依據經驗法則歸納、「翻譯」出來的，讓韓語學習者繞著彎，死背一長串看似風馬牛不相及的字義，事倍功半！
你每天從家裡出門，一路從臥室、客廳、玄關、爬樓梯或搭電梯到大門口，眼前所見的東西，你會用英文說嗎？你每天通勤，在捷運站加值悠遊卡、經過票閘出入口、在月台等車、搭上捷運，你所做的這些動作，你會用韓文說嗎？
你每天經過無數店家：便利商店、超市、百貨公司、書店、飾品店、飲料店、餐廳、早餐店、速食店、郵局、銀行，你走進這些地方，看到的物品、想到的事情，你會用韓文說嗎？
舉例來說，「가게」是「商店、店舖」的意思，但只學這樣還不夠，你還要知道，韓語中綜合性的大商場「백화점」，超市叫「슈퍼마켓」，學校裡的小賣店叫「매점」，24 小時營業的便利店叫「편의점」。
掌握了核心字義，「看見了」該字的基本形象，你就能自然而然往外推，聯想到其它單詞，這樣記單字，不只事半功倍，可說是效果神奇！
