This book is rewritten from Book 8 of THE FAMOUS FIVE - Enid Blyton’s most popular adventure series. The “Famous Five” are Georgina (preferred name George) and her dog, Timmy, with her three cousins, Julian, Dick and Anne.
The Famous Five are on their peaceful cycling tour in the English countryside. They are joined by Richard Kent – the son of one of the richest men in the country! When Dick is mistaken for him and kidnapped by Rooky, once bodyguard to Richard’s father, the children track him down to a lonely house, but they are seized and imprisoned too! Can they escape?
Enid Blyton (1897 - 1968) is one of the world’s best-loved children’s authors. Her books have been translated into over 90 languages and are still enjoyed by children and adults all over the world.
