新日檢N5除了延續舊制日檢4級的考試架構之外，在文法試驗問題的構成方面新增有「組合文句」，也就是「句子重組排序題」。本書是為了報考「日本語能力測驗N5」的考生們所編的文法新題型「排序」問題集。內容是依據日本國際教育協會所公佈的新日本語能力試驗參考手冊N5問題例集文法中的排序題，以及舊制日檢4級「日本語能力測驗出題基準」為藍本編輯而成。
本書中問題的形態和實際的測驗相同。共有10回的測驗練習題，每回練習問題有50題，共計500題。問題集內收錄了大多數的N5文法。另外附有每個練習題的中文翻譯，便於研讀學習，讓考生藉由本書的練習熟悉新型態出題傾向，能夠在考場上應戰自如，順利取得高分。
