책의 마지막 부분에 저자의 창작동화인 ‘기하고양이 키요의 모험’ 얘기도 재미있다. 본문에서 다룬 수학내용 또는 기하를 이용한 게임을 고양이 키요가 해결하는 장면은 아주 인상적이다. 특히 마지작에 도입된 테트리스 도형의 원리는 저자의 기지를 느낄 수 있는 부분이다. 저자의 창의성이 돋보이며 앞의 기하학 수업을 총정리 해볼 수 있는 과학동화이다.
