따사롭고 화창한 봄날, 두 마리 달팽이에게 초대장이 왔습니다. 곧 다람이와 다돌이의 결혼식이 열리거든요. 달팽이 둘은 결혼식에 가려고 길을 떠났습니다. 그런데 해님이 말을 건네 옵니다. 꽃들의 노래를 들어 보라고, 시원한 소나기를 마셔 보고, 병에 갇힌 지렁이를 도와주라고요. 이러다가 결혼식에 늦는 건 아닐까요? 작고 느린 달팽이가 부르는 아름다운 삶의 찬가 『달팽이의 노래』입니다.

About the author

20년 넘게 해 오던 일을 버렸습니다. 계속하고 싶을까 봐 이사도 했습니다. 신나는 일을 하고 싶었기 때문입니다. 언젠가 본 그림책이 머릿속에 맴돌았습니다. 그림을 그리고 글을 쓰고 싶어서 손이 근질거렸습니다. 아니 머릿속이 바글거렸습니다. 좋은 사람들을 만나서 드디어 이야기 하나를 꺼내 그림책으로 만들었습니다. 지금은 홍익대학교에서 한국화를 공부하며 그림책 작업을 하고 있습니다.
