콜론 분석법을 헬라어 문장에 적용하였고 각 콜론을 문단내에서 정의함으로써 본문에 나타난 저자의 사상을 흐름을 쉽게 이해하도록 하였고 또한 헬라어 문장에서 헬라어 중급 문법을 야고보서에 적용하여 본문을 번역하였다. 또한 이 책은 비형식 논리적으로 헬라어 문장을 분해하였기에 헬라어 문장을 논리적으로 읽을 수 있다. 본문에 사용된 중급 문법 용어들과 중간태 동사, 현재와 부정과거 명령, 완료명령등이 부록으로 첨가되었다.

About the author

김재수는 남아공 스텔렌보쉬 대학교에서 신약을 전공하여 박사학위를 취득하였다. 그는 선교사로서 선교지에서 성경 헬라어와 주석을 가르치고 있다.
