About the author
저자 : 김철 저자 김철은 경남 창녕군 남지읍에서 태어나 마산고, 고려대, 서울대, 미시간대에서 공부하여 경영학박사 학위를 취득하였다. 산업은행, 대우조선, 하나대투증권, 쌍용정보통신에서 일하면서 한양대 겸임교수를 역임하였다. 현재는 일산노인복지관 부설 호수복지문화대 교수로 재직 중이다. 저서로는 『국제외환금융론』(법문사)이 있으며, 통계업무발전에 기여한 공로로 대통령표창을 수상하였다. 유학과 주재원 근무 등의 목적으로 뉴욕, 시카고, 보스턴, 미시간 등지에서 약 10년간 체류하였으며, 은퇴 후 탁구를 즐기며 손자도 돌보고 틈틈이 글을 쓰며 소일 중에 있다.
