변호사 골드는 좀비인 동생 실버와 함께 변호사 사무소를 운영하고 있다. 이들이 사는 올랜드 제국에서는 사후 30일 이내에 갑자기 부활하는 원인 불명의 상태를 좀비라고 부르며, 이들을 싼 노동력으로 취급하고 차별한다. 이러한 사회에서 친좀비파 귀족이었던 아르테미아 가문의 마지막 자손 릴리는 좀비가 되어 골드에게 재판을 의뢰한다. 사망보험금을 받을 수 있게 도와달라는 말에 골드는 의뢰를 수락하는데…. 좀비의 사망 진단과 마지막 재판까지, 골드는 재판에서 이길 수 있을까?

사토 작가의 고스트 라이터 출신 스토리 작가. 『계부의 아들』 작품 이후에 함께 팀을 이루어 함께 고단샤 사내 공모전에 당선된 후, 『Deadmeat paradox』를 만들었다. 현재 모 웹툰 회사의 시나리오 파트장으로 재직 중이다.
