지하련 소설가 본명은 이현욱(李現郁) 1912년 경남 거창 출생 1960년 북한에서 사망 추정 시인 임화의 두 번째 부인으로 1945년 해방 직후 남편 임화와 함께 조선문학가동맹에 가담하였으며, 1947년 두 사람은 함께 월북하였다. 주요 작품으로는 등단작인 1940년 《문학》에 발표된 결별을 비롯해, 제향초, 산길, 도정 등의 단편소설과 시 어느 야속한 동포가 있어가 있다.
