About the author
박승주 경기도 화성에서 출생하였다. 대학에서는 국문학을 전공하였으며 대학을 졸업한 후에는 다양한 분야의 경험을 하였으며 학원강사와 출판 관련 프리랜서의 일을 하였다. 자칭 명언수집가로서 평소에도 좋은 말들이 있으면 늘 메모를 하였다. 분야별로 정리해 놓고 필요할 때마다 꺼내 읽었다. 단 한 줄의 긍정적인 메시지가 절망의 터널을 벗어나게 할 수도 있다는 믿음으로 이 책을 펴내게 되었다. 힘이 들 때, 외로울 때, 슬플 때 이 책에 나와 있는 한 줄의 명언들이 그 사람들의 마음을 위로해주기를 바라면서 이 책을 엮는다.
