고등학교까지 시골에서 다니다가 대학교는 서울에서 다니게 되었다. 부모님은 농사를 지으시기 때문에 같이 서울에 올라올 수가 없어서 나만 친구네 집에서 살게 되었다. 중학교 때까지 제일 친한 친했던 그 친구는 서울로 전학을 가서도 계속 나와 연락을 하고 있었다. 친구네 집은 부유해서 친구 수정이는 대학을 미국에서 다니게 되었다. 대신 수정이가 쓰던 방을 내가 쓰게 되었다. 친구의 부모님과 오빠들은 날 아주 반갑게 맞아 주었다. 그런데 오빠들의 눈빛이 이상해지기 시작했다.
