"너보단 쟤가 예뻐." 술잔을 들고 있던 통통한 손이 떨렸다. 개 또라이 같은 새내기한테 당했다. 짜증스럽다 못해 자존심이 상해 세연은 더 이상 그 자리에 있을 수가 없었다. *** 내 안을 훑으며 돌아다니는 놈의 혀가 나를 조금씩 깨우기 시작한다. 5년 전에 있었던 시간이 꿈이 아니었음을 각인시킨다. “하아.” 놈은 머리 위로 들린 내 두 손을 한 손으로 맞잡고 다른 손으로 천천히 팔을 더듬으며 거슬러 내려간다. 움켜쥐듯 진하게 누르며 5년 사이에 달라진 나를 스캐닝한다. 커다란 놈의 손이 내 몸선의 굴곡을 따라 누르고 훑으며 흘러간다. 내 입술 끝에서 타액에 젖은 놈의 입술이 움직이며 속삭인다. “살이 많이 빠졌어.” 날마다 조깅을 했다. ‘너보단 쟤가 예뻐.’란 말을 다신 듣고 싶지 않아서. 그의 손이 내 카디건 안으로 들어가 배꼽 위를 엄지로 진하게 훑었다. 또다시 놈의 속삭임이 들린다. “내 딸 유림이는 잘 있지?” “미친놈.”
