About the author
저자 손영운은 서울대학교를 졸업했고, 중.고등학교에서 과학을 가르치며 중학교 과학 교과서와 교사용 지도서를 집필했다. 또 『청소년을 위한 서양과학사』, 『엉뚱한 생각 속에 과학이 쏙쏙』, 『손영운의 우리 땅 과학답사기』 등 여러 권의 책을 집필했는데, 이 중 14권이 과학창의재단의 우수과학도서로 선정되었다. 최근에는 『서울대 선정 인문고전만화 50선』(50권) 시리즈를 기획하고 완간시켰다.
