About this ebook
‘풍신(風神)’이라 함은 남한지방(南韓地方) 일대에 전승(傳承)해오는 구(舊) 2월 ‘영동할머니’ 또는 유사(類似)한 명창으로 부르는 민속신앙(民俗信仰)을 지칭하는 것에 한정(限定)한다. 이를 학적(學的) 연구대상으로 한 학자(學者)가 고금(古今)을 통하여 수삼인(數三人) 있었으나, 오히려 전적(全的)으로 빙석(氷釋)할만한 설명(說明)을 한 전례(前例)가 없어, 이제까지 민속학적(民俗學的) 숙제(宿題)로 남아있는 것이다. 그러므로 이제 필자(筆者)가 졸고(拙考)를 시(試)하려는 것도 군맹무상지격(群盲撫象之格)에 지나지 않을까 두려워하는 것이다. 이 점(點)에 대하여는 독자 제언(諸?)의 관대한 양해(諒解)가 있기 바라는 바이다.본문 줄거리 중에서
