1970년 충북 옥천에서 태어나 한국방송통신대학 국어국문학과를 졸업했다. 2004년 창비신인시인상에 「절골」외 4편이 당선되어 작품활동을 시작했다. 현재 ‘젊은시’ 동인으로 활동중이다.
